In May 2004, Heather became a correspondent and field producer for "Smart Living" (formerly "Get Hooked On Health"), a 30-minute television program airing on Charter Cable. She was thrilled to be named the host of the program in June 2006 as they enter the third season. The show was launched as part of a national health and fitness campaign to improve the health and fitness awareness in our cities.
